1. The free checker

Text you paste or load into the CLAUDE.md and AGENTS.md editors is processed locally in your browser. We do not transmit, receive, or store that file content. Generated files and downloads are also created in your browser.

2. Anonymous product and acquisition events

We count one anonymous tab-session start per browser tab session on our canonical domain, plus a small allowlist of product events. An activated session begins with the first editor change or valid file load, and an adopted session is the first successful copy or download after activation. For session starts and the main funnel events, we keep daily aggregate counts by broad channel, source, medium, campaign tags, referring hostname, and landing path. This lets us compare whether sessions from sources such as search engines, AI answer tools, developer communities, social links, email, paid campaigns, referrals, and direct links lead to an activated session or an adopted result.

These anonymous aggregates do not contain instruction-file content, file names, search terms, IP addresses, advertising IDs, or a persistent visitor identifier. A first-touch source and an anonymous already-counted flag are kept only in session storage in your browser. The owner operations page sets a first-party opt-out cookie on the administrator's browser so internal checks are not counted as public traffic. Known automated clients are filtered from the event endpoint using their request user-agent without retaining it.

3. Hosting and security

Our hosting and security providers process ordinary request information such as IP address, browser headers, and timestamps to deliver the site, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot failures. They may set strictly necessary security cookies. Their infrastructure logs are governed by their own retention and security practices.

4. Reservations, email, and repository audits

If you reserve an audit through the site, we store your email, selected coding agent, short problem summary, consent timestamp, and first/current acquisition source. Unconverted reservation records are scheduled for deletion after 12 months. If you email us or purchase an audit, we also process the repository details, access instructions, and correspondence needed to scope and deliver the work. Do not send secrets, production credentials, private keys, or unnecessary personal data. Repository access is requested only after scope is agreed and should use the least privilege necessary.

5. Payments

Payments are processed on a third-party hosted payment page identified in the checkout or payment request. That provider processes payment details under its own privacy policy. AgentsMD Checker does not receive or store full card numbers. We receive transaction, contact, and payment-status information needed for receipts, fulfillment, refunds, and accounting. We keep an order ledger containing the customer email, product, provider, provider reference, amount, currency, status, and payment-event timestamps.

6. Sharing and your choices

We do not sell personal information. We share information only with service providers needed to operate the site, process payment, communicate, or comply with law. You may ask to access, correct, or delete information connected to an email or paid engagement by contacting privacy@agentsmdchecker.com.
